Thanks to her naturally striking looks, she’s become one of the world’s most in-demand models. So it was little surprise to see Gigi Hadid leading the charge on the catwalk at Tommy Hilfiger’s New York Fashion Week show on Monday, dressed in a racy yet chic rainbow colored bikini.
Showing off the designer’s Rasta-meets-preppy Spring 2016 catalogue, the 20-year-old model and her sister Bella stole the show in an assortment of Caribbean inspired garments.
Flaunting her tanned and toned figure to its full extent in the edgy and tiny bikini-style one-piece, Gigi couldn’t help but beam back stage as she prepared to strut her stuff.
Taking to the catwalk in the one-piece, which featured a multi-coloured floral print halter neck and teeny bottoms joined together with beaded strings, Gigi flashed her flesh to the assembled crowd in the racy swimsuit.
Looking as if she could have been on a tropical beach, the feisty model completed her outfit with a pair of floral slip-ons, a knitted Rasta themed bucket hat, some bracelets and a chunky necklace.
With her golden mane held in place by the unique head ware, Gigi – who is currently dating Joe Jonas – showcased her pretty features by wearing minimal make-up to match her beach-bum outfit.
Watching his supermodel girlfriend sashay down the runway, Gigi’s beau Joe, 26, looked on proudly as he lent his support whilst showing of his own fashion credentials in a dark striped suit.
But while Gigi might have stolen the show by feistily striding down the catwalk in her edgy beach wardrobe, her sister Bella also turned head with her own stint on the runway.
The brunette beauty, 18, has followed her big sister into the elite realms of modelling and is making quite the name for herself.
Dressed in a pair of baggy beige jogging bottoms and a multi-colored string vest, Bella’s catwalk outfit only preserved her modesty thanks to a tiny bikini top worn underneath her see-through top.
With her brunette locks falling to her shoulders in a center-parting, the younger Hadid sister showed off her own striking features with a natural pallet of make-up; while she accessorized with a similar Rasta themed necklace to Gigi’s.
And while the Hadid sisters occupied two of the most prominent roles at the event, the true starring role went to the label’s namesake and designer, Tommy Hilfiger.
Marshalling the action from behind the scenes and sharing a joke with the models, the iconic American designer looked delighted with the fashion pack’s reaction to his latest collection.
