Katharine McPhee Showcases Her Ample Cleavage in Stringy Black Two-Piece Bikini On Beach

She was runner-up when she starred in the fifth series of American Idol in 2006.

But Katharine McPhee proved she has a winning figure when she donned a tiny black two-piece to soak up the rays in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, on Friday.

The 31-year-old star was sure to turn some heads as she hit the white shores in the stringy design, which was lined with a pretty frilled hem.

Katharine was seen shielding her eyes from the blistering sunshine beneath a pair of Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses, as she indulged in a paddleboarding session with a friend.

She wore her long, brunette tresses in flowing, beachy waves cascading over her shoulders, and accessorized with a chunky gold bracelet.

Her friend donned a crimson bikini top with frills, and coordinating string bikini bottoms as she, too showed off her toned figure while lounging beside pal Katharine.

She wore her curly caramel tresses pulled back into a bun as the pair sat up on their boards, smiling as they chatted.

Meanwhile, the singer-turned-actress appeared to use her board for everything but paddling, as she and her pal were seen chatting and giggling before the star flipped on her front in a bid to catch some sun.

Katharine was later spotted adjusting a beach umbrella as she went to relax in one of the lounge chairs by the pool.

She was spotted scooping up her black sun hat and a large, fluffy white towel, as it seemed the star wanted a bit of a break from the sun.

But her holiday isn’t the only bit of luxury the star has been relishing in as of late.

Adding to her property portfolio, the actress and singer also owns a condo in Sherman Oaks.

Katharine filed for divorce from her husband Nick, who she was married to for seven years – one of which they sent separated, last May.

At the time of the divorce announcement, McPhee’s rep told People: ‘After six years of marriage, and having been separated for the past year, Katharine McPhee has filed for a dissolution of marriage from Nick Cokas’.
