1. Mia Khalifa

Khalifa was born in Beirut, Lebanon and moved with her family to the United States in 2000. She moved to Montgomery County, Maryland as a teenager and attended Northwest High School. A few years later she graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. She said her family is Catholic and she was raised in that religion, although she is no longer practicing.

Career

Khalifa entered the @dult film industry in October 2014. She had been working at a local fast food restaurant when she was approached by a customer and asked if she ever wanted to be in @dult films.

On December 28 that year, Pornhub revealed that she was the #1 ranked @dult star on their website, replacing retired Lisa Ann. Her newfound notoriety quickly drew strong criticism from many in the Middle East, who branded her career choice as shameful and Khalifa herself a disgrace to her country. (Wikipedia)

2. Jenna Jameson

Jameson says that she started acting in @dult videos in retaliation for the infidelity of her boyfriend, Jack. She first appeared in an erotic film in 1993, a non-explicit softcore movie by Andrew Blake, with girlfriend Nikki Tyler. Her first @dult movie scenes were filmed by Randy West and appeared in 1994’s Up and Cummers 10 and Up and Cummers 11. She quickly achieved notice and appeared in several other pornographic films while still living in Las Vegas.

3. Sasha Grey

In May 2006, Grey moved to Los Angeles and began appearing in @dult films just after turning 18. Originally she toyed with the name Anna Karina, taken after the French New Wave actress, before deciding on her present name. The name “Sasha” was taken from Sascha Konietzko of the band KMFDM, and “Grey” represents Oscar Wilde‘s novel The Picture of Dorian Gray.

4. Asa Akira

A New York native with Japanese ancestry, Asa is the granddaughter of a Japanese diplomat and received a full scholarship to the UN international school based in Manhattan. Unlike her grandfather, diplomacy was not her thing, and she was dropped from the school due to poor grades and began her career as an @dult film star.

5. Faye Reagan

Growing up in Las Vegas, Faye’s parents were very strict with her and she told the press she lost her virginity at the age of 18 to her first ever boyfriend. Her 1st appearance on the screen was in a Girls Gone Wild video which led to her stardom in the @dult film industry. Her strict parents were not happy with her decision obviously.

6. Belladonna

Growing up in as a rural Mormon girl, Belladonna didn’t care too much for the strict religious life of Mormons and had a real chaotic life as a teenager. She ran away from her parents’ house at the age of 15 and began dancing in a club in Utah. She was soon discovered by a talent scout and became one of the most famous @dult actresses in the world.

7. Asia Carrera

When Jessica Steinhauser was 16 years old she already taught English in Japan and was on her way to become a professional pianist. Rutgers University awarded her a full academic scholarship, but she chose a different path and became the famous @dult star Asia Carrera instead. It might be a little bit more exciting than Rutgers, that’s for sure.

8. Tori Black

Michelle Chapman was a dancer by the age of 7, and later would become a football player and a boxer. After she graduated from high school she became a Journalism, Sociology and Women’s Study student at Western Washington University, but decided to quit school and pursue her dreams of the screen in the @dult films industry.
